एक अदृश्य जंगल जो दस वर्षो में एक माह के लिए दृश्य में हो। इस अदभुत वन की कल्पना अकल्पना के सामान हो। वह गिरता झरना बेहता पानी में छम छम करती मछली मानो इस जंगल की बहती सुगध अपनी और आकर्षित कर रही हो। रहस्य जंगल बॉय के कदमों की आहट से सम्पूर्ण जंगल चमक उठा। सभी के आँखो और चेहरों में चम् चम् चमक। पुरे जंगल में जंगल बॉय का नाम मानो एक ध्वनि की लहरों की तरह गुज रहा हो।

जंगल बॉय की असीमित शक्ति मानो सभी का मन मोह रही हो। सभी का रूप ले कर कुछ समय के लिए उनके साथ खेलता उनके सा बरताब करता । सभी उस को अपने परिवार का हिस्सा मानने लगे। अभी भी यह रहस्य है की जंगल बॉय का रूप कौन सा है। सभी से उनकी सी भाषा में बात करता। सभी उसे दस हाथ दस पैर वाला जानवर कहते। ऊंचे पर्वत पर काले बदलो से धिरा विशाल वृक्ष सब जानता है। नीति के नियम उसे बोलने की इजाजत नहीं देते। सब समय के हाथ की डोर है।

हर कहानी की तरह इस कहानी में भी लेख़क रोचक से भरपूर मोड़ लाता है। दूसरी तरफ इस अदृश्य रहस्य भरे जंगल से दूर कोई है जो इस दस वर्षो से एक माह के लिए दिखने वाले जंगल का इंतज़ार कर रहा। इस बार वह अपने मन में रखे क्रोध की सारी इच्छा पूरी करे गा। हर प्रकार के आधुनिक और बारूद बारूद से भरे गोदाम लायेगा। आसमान में तितलियाँ से आग गिराये गा। इस बार वह कछुए दादा को मौत की कब्र में सुलाये गा। उस जंगल के रहस्य को अपने साथ ले जाये गा। जंगल वाले इन्हे काले गिरगिट के नाम से पुकाते।
